Our Story

Our family has formed the John D. Randall Memorial Foundation, Inc. to honor John and to continue his compassionate work for others.  John will long be remembered for his compassion and heart for people.  He had a huge smile, goofy laugh, and spirit of giving.  He was involved in several mission organizations and loved to help those who were marginalized or in need.  During his long battle with addiction, he remained steadfast in his mission to always offer his love and support to those around him.  Over the years, he was quick to offer his personal time, resources, and energy to fellow brothers and sisters he had worked alongside to defeat the disease.  John was undeniably loyal to the core with a huge heart!

We loved John unconditionally and are so very proud of all he overcame to achieve sobriety.  We also understand the harsh realities of this horrible illness.  It is a disease that relentlessly pursues and is simultaneously medically under-resourced and socially shamed.   

John was making a difference in this world.  He was sharing his love, compassion and resources to make life better for those battling substance abuse recovery.  We believe we can continue his efforts through the John D. Randall Memorial Foundation, Inc.  The organization will focus on raising funds for worthy efforts aimed toward recovery from substance abuse addiction and promoting a healthy lifestyle.  We believe this is not only what John would want us to do but also what he would expect of us!
